Tucked just beyond the main dining room at Gander & Ryegrass, The East Room is an intimate space for private dinners, celebrations, business gatherings, and special events. With its own distinct atmosphere while remaining connected to the restaurant, the room offers the full Gander & Ryegrass experience in a setting reserved just for your group.
Menus are built around our seasonal cooking and can range from relaxed family-style meals to multi-course dinners, with wine pairings and beverage packages available.

Up to 22 guests seated
Up to 30 guests for standing receptions
Food & Beverage Minimums
Lunch — No minimum; $25 per guest deposit
Sunday–Thursday Dinner — $800 ($1500 in December)
Friday & Saturday Dinner — $2,500 ($3,000 in December)
Menus
Private dining menus start at $102 per guest, with several formats available depending on the occasion and size of your party.
Beverages
Full bar service, curated wine selections, wine pairings, and non-alcoholic options are available.
Booking & Fees
A $500 deposit is required to reserve The East Room. A 20% auto-gratuity and 4% administrative fee are applied to private events.

Catering
Bring the Gander & Ryegrass experience to your own table. Our private chef dinners are designed for intimate celebrations, dinner parties, and special occasions where you want the experience of a restaurant without leaving home.
Our team handles the menu, preparation, cooking, and service, creating a multi-course dinner built specifically for your gathering. Menus can draw from the style of Gander & Ryegrass or be created around the season, the occasion, and the way you want to entertain.
Guest Count
Designed for intimate gatherings of approximately 6–20 guests. Larger events may be available depending on the space and menu.
Menus
Multi-course private dinners starting at $125 per guest. Custom menus, wine pairings, and additional courses are available.
What’s Included
Menu planning, food preparation, an on-site chef, service staff as needed, and kitchen cleanup.
Wine & Beverage
Wine consultation and pairing recommendations are available. Beverage service can be coordinated depending on the event.
Travel
Private chef dinners are available throughout the Spokane area. Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard service area (10 mile radius from Downtown Spokane).
Booking
A $500 deposit is required to reserve your date. Pricing is based on guest count, menu, staffing requirements, and location. **Minimum $2000 F&B spend required.
